Faride Schroeder has a strong and intuitive female gaze. She was spotlighted by Nowness as one of the 5 international female directors to follow, and as one of the 100 Most Creative Mexicans in the World, by Forbes. She directs Advertising and Branded content for global brands like Heineken, Cerveza Victoria, US Postal Service, American Express, PepsiCo, Kellogg, Chevrolet, and Nissan.
She is the Director of the first two episodes of CNN's original Documentary series ‘Searching for Mexico’ (HBO Max, Prime Video, BBC, and Paramount+) hosted and executive produced by Eva Longoria. Faride writes and directs her own films screened at La Semaine de la Critique at Cannes Film Festival, Fantasia Film
Festival, Cinélatino Rencontres de Toulouse, Morelia Film Festival, among others. Her one-shot film ‘Mercy’ is one of the most-seen films on the Mexican Film Institute platform. Her short ‘Oasis’ won both the 1st National and the 1st
International awards of Nespresso Talents at Cannes Film Festival. ´Daughters of Witches´ starring the Oscar nominee Yalitza Aparicio, premiered at Fantasia Film Festival and won the Best Fiction Short film at the 30th San Diego Latino Film Festival and at the 18th FicMonterrey.
