Arjen began his career in the fast-paced world of editing, crafting international promos for Discovery Channel and MTV. There, he developed a sharp sense of rhythm, tension, and emotional pacing. With a background in Film Studies and a drive to shape his own visual language, he later moved into directing—first music videos and experimental pieces, then commercial and branded content for global brands such as LOTUS, DUCATI, MITSUBISHI, SMART, ASML, UEFA, HEINEKEN, AEGON, KEUNE, and SAP.

His work spans automotive, fashion, sports, and narrative-driven commercials, defined by bold visuals, unexpected storytelling, and a balance of scale and intimacy.
