Working across film, music, fashion, and commercial projects, Alejandra Hinojosa is a director and photographer whose perspective is shaped by culture, instinct, and lived experience. Raised in Matamoros, Mexico, and now based between Mexico and Los Angeles, her work reflects a point of view shaped by crossing contexts and cultures, drawing constant inspiration from moving between worlds.
She directed the Amazon Music documentary Gen MX, which explores the movement behind the global rise of Mexican music, featuring Natanael Cano, Grupo Firme, Fuerza Regida, Ana Bárbara, Alicia Villarreal, Majo Aguilar, and Danna. Her work spans music video direction for Steve Aoki, Kenia Os, Myke Towers, Ruzzi, and Sofía Reyes; editorial photography and album artwork for artists including Ricky Martin, Carín León, John Legend, Doja Cat, Thalía, and Nicky Jam; and commercial and fashion projects for global brands such as Lancôme, Chanel, Ferragamo, Adidas, and Louis Vuitton. Her work is defined by a clear vision and a strong cultural edge.
