Pietro grew up in Milan, Italy, and moved to Los Angeles at the age of 18. After graduating with a degree in Cinematography from Chapman University, he worked with Oscar-winning director Xavier Koller and alongside cinematographers such as Yorick Le Saux, Fabio Cianchetti, and Guillaume Schiffman, as well as filmmakers like Luca Guadagnino.

He later moved to Mexico City, where he began directing. His short film 'For The Love I Show' won the Best Short Film award at HollyShorts.

Working across various formats, he has directed music videos for artists such as Julian Casablancas and collaborated with Fondazione Prada on audiovisual projects.

He currently lives in Mexico City, where he is developing his first feature film.
